Replacing one essential, not refitting the whole room
When one item fails, focus on that item. Compare repair, replacement and temporary options before adding more to the order.
Check the fault and existing cover
Look at any warranty or service cover and ask a qualified repairer where appropriate. Do not use an unsafe electrical appliance. A catalogue purchase is not a substitute for getting a fault assessed.
Reuse the measurements
Check dimensions and connections afresh. A model described as similar may still need more clearance or different installation. Confirm disposal arrangements for the old item.
Check timing honestly
A new customer’s first catalogue order is not immediate dispatch: the first four payments establish payment history. If your need is urgent, consider whether a safe temporary option is necessary.
