A work corner that earns its place
A working corner does not have to be a separate room. Start with the tasks you need to complete and the equipment they require.
Check software requirements first
List the applications your employer, course or daily tasks require. Confirm operating system, memory, storage and compatibility before selecting a laptop. Do not assume every model is suitable for demanding creative or gaming work.
Make room for everyday comfort
Choose a stable surface, a suitable seat and a place for cables. Think about light and nearby sockets. Equipment is only one part of a usable workspace.
Keep personal and work needs separate
If your employer provides equipment, check that before ordering. Choose based on an actual need rather than a specification you will not use.
